However, Some phone has PC suites software preloaded in thier internal memory and are executed as the phone is connected to PC. Some PC suites can be installed from the CD provided with the purchase of phone or can be downloaded from the Micromax's website.
Micromax PC suite interface is similar as other PC suites. It has mainly three option where you can access Phonebook, Message and data storage. You can access all your data, contacts messages and other setting in PC suite.
In the message folder, the Handset folder contains Inbox and Outbox options; PC folder has Inbox, Outbox and Draft, and lastly there is the trash can. Opening a message, viewing message history and forwarding or composing messages can be done through this option.
The settings folder helps the user to determine phone/PC connection properties and create additional options. The Image option helps the user to select wallpaper for the handset from the computer via the image selection tools. Melody helps the user to select a MIDI audio file from the system, preview it and then set it up as the current ringtone.
The file manager present helps in the transfer of files from the PC to the phone. It also contains an install JAVA option that help installing phone applications via PC.All in all, there is nothing very wonderful in Micromax PC suite. Yet, it is a very versatile tool for managing the phones content and create backups.
